As Grey’s deadline draws nearer, Lia Mara questions if she can be the queen her country needs.

As two kingdoms come closer to conflict, loyalties are tested, love is threatened, and an old enemy resurfaces who could destroy them all, in this stunning conclusion to bestselling author Brigid Kemmerer’s Cursebreaker series.

My thoughts on this book:

While I absolutely ADORED and devoured the first two books, A Vow So Bold and Deadly paled in comparison for me. I expected the finale to have a lot more plot twists and excitement but I was sorely disappointed by the plot. I felt like the plot points were a bit reused from the first book just on a larger scale.

I did however love Lia Mara and Grey in this one! 😍 Their character development was amazing and I just love their chapter POVs! Lia Mara really grew into a strong leader despite the inner turmoil within her court and I’m glad to see her develop! And Grey is definitely still one of my fave characters and even more so in the last few chapters of the book!

For me, Harper and Rhen seemed off in this book. I understand that it’s part of the plot but it felt stilted somehow and I didn’t enjoy their POVs as I did with Lia Mara and Grey’s.

The ending seemed very unresolved to me and I would’ve loved to see a more prolonged epilogue or something but that being said, the last few chapters were actually some of my favorites because they were light and chill in a way 😂😂

Overall it was a pretty decent conclusion although I did wish for a bit more exciting plot points.

I rated it a 3/5 🌟

Would I recommend this book?

I recommend this whole Cursebreakers series as a whole! 😍 It’s definitely a beautiful trilogy so all you fantasy lovers, you’ll enjoy this!

Wishing all of you have amazing day! ✨

Until the next blog post,
